St. Regis
Princeville, Kauai
I love love love staying at the St. Regis in Princeville on the island of Kauai. Kauai is very lush and very green. Super tropical because it rains alot. But the rain is warm and usually the sun is out while it's raining.
Love taking walks thru the property and admiring the beautiful trees, love the texture of the bark. Everything is so lush.
There are many things to do on the island of Kauai: hiking to secret beach, zip lining, surfing, swimming with the sea turtles, snorkeling, diving, sailing, taking a helicopter ride over waterfalls and through rainbows (I've seen double rainbows and triple rainbows! See image below) to land on a secluded spot to have a picnic (loved that!) on just relaxing on the beach sipping a cold mai tai.
Many movies have been filmed on the island of Kauai. George Clooney filmed Descendants at the St. Regis. The interior of the hotel is spectacular with art everywhere! My mother is an artist and she loved admiring each and every piece. Even the ceiling had art look:
We stay at the St. Regis in Kauai every year. We've brought friends and family there and even renewed our 10 year wedding vows on the beach at sunset.
The hotels is very grand and very luxurious. They greet you at the lobby with a cool pineapple juice and an orchid lei and Aloha smile. the rooms are immaculate, service impeccable.The view from the hotel is spectacular, a different view each day. I loved seeing the ocean, birds and tranquil view while enjoying breakfast on the Lanai.
Some days I get to see a beautiful rainbow with my coffee.
Family and adult pools, beautiful beaches and fun activities for the family like surfing lessons in the pool or ocean, learning to make leis and hula lessons.
Sometimes instead of hitting the gym, I'd grab a coconut off the beach and do a workout! The weather and location just makes you want to be active, fit and outdoors. Hope you will visit!
